COMMITMENT TO VETERANS

DYNCORP INTERNATIONAL IS VETERAN-FRIENDLY

At DynCorp International we recognize the experience and dedication that veterans contribute to our business, as employees, business partners, and suppliers. As President and CEO William L. Ballhaus has said, "Veterans are a great asset to DynCorp International in our work, supporting the U.S. government in foreign policy and national security fields with critical support and training services."

Proof of our commitment comes from G.I. Jobs Magazine, the nation’s premier career guide for military job-seekers. DynCorp International has been ranked in the top 20 most military-friendly employers for two years in a row, at 15th and 19th place, chosen from a pool of approximately 2,500 companies with a minimum of $1 billion in annual revenues. Companies selected by G.I. Jobs Magazine are chosen for their level of dedication to military hiring, observance of Reserve/Guard polices, veteran training programs, and the percentage of new hires who are veterans.

DynCorp International was also honored in 2009, for the third year in a row, by Vetrepreneur magazine as one of the U.S. 10 best corporations for veteran-owned businesses. We arranged for 100 veteran-owned small businesses to attend the 10th and 11th Annual Government Procurement Conferences free of charge and also sponsored the Veteran-Owned Business Accountability Summit in June 2008. Finally, the Maintenance and Technical Services Support business division earned an Achievement Award last year from the Center for Veterans Enterprise for achieving their subcontracting goal for service-disabled veterans.

DynCorp International is continuing to develop a strong working relationship with the transition programs sponsored by the military services. Participation in the Army Career and Alumni Program (ACAP) and the Air Force Transition Assistance Program (TAP) job fairs and employer panels clearly demonstrates the value that we place on the training and experience our veterans bring to our company. We also sponsor the Service Academy Career Conference (SACC) four times a year for graduates from all the service academies.

In word and deed, DynCorp International affirms every day our corporate belief in the value of veteran suppliers and veteran employees. We offer extraordinary opportunities and challenging assignments to people who share our commitment to quality and service. Veterans make an important part of our team, the DynCorp team.
