EXPEDITIONARY CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

Our professional engineers are experts in field construction management and can meet expedited requirements. Our worldwide operations and global supply chain enable us to source and deliver materials rapidly – even in austere, remote environments. We have successfully managed construction projects in Afghanistan, Iraq, Jordan, Oman, Liberia, Senegal, and Sudan. We currently have LOGCAP IV contracts in Afghanistan and Kuwait with the DoD. DI is also the recipient of the AFRICAP contract with the Department of State.

GLOBAL PRESENCE, GLOBAL CAPABILITIES

From start to finish, DI’s corporate construction team stays involved, reviewing proposals, confirming estimates, scheduling suppliers, ensuring proper engineering supervision and getting the right people on the right jobs – in the office and in the field. We know the challenges and we have shown we can deliver:

Labor – We manage multinational and multicultural teams, employ local labor, and use local materials. We work with a broad range of subcontractors and conduct skills training for local nationals in order to deliver a sustainable solution.

Logistics – We provide resources and logistical support to deliver materials and personnel quickly.

Extreme Environments – We have essential core capabilities and a proven ability to get the job done in a variety of conditions, including sub-zero mountainous regions, extreme desert heat and sand, war-torn military zones, and post-conflict environments.

Ongoing Security and Support – We build communities, renovate infrastructure, and provide security and other services required to operate facilities after construction.

DynCorp International provides turnkey solutions, benefiting our customers with complete, customized results from a single provider.

BUILDING SUCCESS, ONE CHALLENGE AT A TIME

DynCorp International is building facilities in some of the world’s most challenging places. Our projects include 4000-person Army Garrisons, residential complexes and regional training facilities in Afghanistan, a police training facility in Jordan, base camps in forward operating locations in Iraq, and military housing and operational facilities in Liberia and Southern Sudan.

AFGHANISTAN
DI has two 4,000 person garrison complexes underway, and completed 19 camp complexes throughout Afghanistan. Six are Regional Training Centers and two are major aviation centers, including operational maintenance facilities plus accommodation and living facilities.

IRAQ
We completed and maintained 17 camp complexes throughout Iraq to support critical police training and personnel security missions. These projects were constructed under constant threat.

JORDAN
DI completed a multiple-use $80 million Regional Police Training Center compound in Amman for up to 4,200 students and trainers.

OMAN
We managed the largest construction and site upgrade program in the history of the U.S. Air Force’s War Reserve Materiel (WRM) contract. In 2005-2006, 70 projects were awarded and completed to improve security, productivity, and asset-protection at multiple locations in the Gulf.

LIBERIA
We managed extensive renovation of an existing facility and the new construction of pre-fabricated military camps to support the emerging Liberian Armed Forces.

SUDAN
We completed six expedient temporary encampments with more than 100 buildings each to accommodate many residents, including members of the Sudanese People’s Liberation Army.
