IRVING, TEXAS – August 29, 2005 – Robert
B. Rosenkranz has joined DynCorp International as president of its
International Technical Services (ITS) division. The ITS division is
responsible for contracts worth more than $1 billion, including
important contracts in international police training, security,
humanitarian services, landmine removal, and anti-narcotics support.
Mr.
Rosenkranz comes to DI from KEI Pearson, a defense contractor in
Northern Virginia and a subsidiary of Pearson plc, a global education
and media company, where he was vice-president for business
development. Previously, he was general manager of Beamhit, a
marksmanship-simulation product company that was acquired by L-3
Communications and placed under its MPRI subsidiary.
Mr.
Rosenkranz had a 34-year career in the United States Army, retiring
with the rank of major general. He previously worked for DynCorp
International´s predecessor in operational and business development
positions from 1995 to 2001, culminating with three years as Senior
Vice-President of Range and Logistics Services at DynCorp Technical
Services in Fort Worth, Texas.
Mr. Rosenkranz is a graduate of
the United States Military Academy and holds a masters degree from the
University of Pennsylvania. He did other graduate work at the United
States Army War College, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and
the John F. Kennedy School of Public Administration at Harvard
University.
