FALLS CHURCH, Va. – March 10, 2008 – The Army Contracting Agency
Southern Region Contracting Center East has awarded DynCorp
International (NYSE:DCP) a task order to provide a full range of
logistics support services at Fort Campbell, Ky.
The task
order, which was issued under the Army’s Field and Installation
Readiness Support Team (FIRST) contract, is for a base year and four
option years. It has a total estimated value of $114 million if all
options are exercised.
DynCorp International will provide
logistics support services, including vehicle maintenance and support,
transportation services, supply and troop support, plans and
operations, and possible sustainment of deployed forces as required by
mission schedules.
The task order will be managed by DynCorp International’s Maintenance and Technical Support Services division.
DynCorp
International is one of 16 companies selected in February 2007 to
compete for task orders under the Army FIRST contracts.
